DC vs Vampires Vol 1

A few weeks ago, I was poking around Amazon Comics and I stumbled on DC vs. Vampires vol. 1. I gotta be honest, I picked this up just based on the cover.

The story starts with the revelation of the Queen of vampires’ death, who had been holding back the vampires from attacking humanity for many years. A mysterious new king of vampires takes over, and now it’s open season on humans. What’s worse is that the vampires are turning metahumans into vampires, increasing their power and making them a more significant threat to humanity.

Non-vampires like Batman and Green Arrow fight back, but towards the end of volume one, things start to fall apart. The new king of vampires is revealed, and the volume ends on a cliffhanger. The comic is a fun ride, with a storyline that picks up momentum and keeps you hooked. The art style perfectly matches the tone of the story, getting darker and more oppressive as the story progresses.

The fight scenes can be a bit chaotic, but they are well done, and you get a clear sense of what’s happening. Overall, I give this comic 8 volcanoes out of 10, a super enjoyable story that’s well worth the read. If you’re looking for something new to read, I highly recommend picking it up, especially since there are two more volumes to follow. I had a lot of fun with this tale, and I’m excited to see where the story goes next.
